What is psychiatry about? What OUGHT it to be about? The word "psychiatry" means "soulhealing". And how can you heal a soul? By power? Violence? Can we assume that anyone´s soul can be healed (and thrive) in an atmosphere of threat? Can we furthermore expect cure if the patient is given no hope? Would YOU thrive and grow in environment that breathes hopelessness?
